KC Contemporary Dance is proud to present our seventeenth annual Fall Repertory Concert, “INTERFERENCE”. 2020 has been a challenging year for most, and arts organizations have struggled to continue to create new works amid dangerous conditions and gathering restrictions. We thank you all for your continued support as we present this show with performers and patrons safety in mind.

A very special thanks to the Bauer KC for providing us with a safe rehearsal space during the production of this show. We are grateful for a rich and thriving artistic community surrounding and supporting us.
Thank you to our funders-- those organizations that have supported our work, as well as individual donors that have kept us going during trying times. This performance would not happen without their help. Funder and donor information can be found on our website. Please consider donating to our 2021 season. Thank you to our board of directors for their continued support and help in the front and back of house during this performance.
A note from the Director:
“I want to extend my most sincere thanks to the dancers in this show. 2020 has been a whirlwind of challenges and we have had to pivot and adjust many times during the production of this show. To have a group of dancers that have been willing to take it in stride, dance in masks, with no contact and no live audience for most of the year, is rare and special. This group of people have shown so much love to me and to each other this year, and they deserve to perform this show for the masses. My hope is that they found fulfillment and camaraderie during rehearsal and production, and that dancing through this pandemic has allowed them to retain some sense of normalcy.”
