Emily Dillman

Emily Dillman is a Kansas City native. She found a passion for dance at a young age. In pursuit of a career in the arts industry, Emily attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts. During her time here she worked under the direction of DeeAnna Hiett, Ronald Tice, Gary Abbot, Caroline Dahm, and Tobin James. She performed works set by renowned choreographers including Kevin Iega Jeff, Christopher Huggins, and Ray Mercer. Simultaneously, Emily danced with the nationally-ranked Kansas City Roos dance team and the Chiefs Cheer Training Team. Since graduation, Emily has gone on to be a successful freelance dancer and choreographer working with various local companies including Wylliams Henry Contemporary Dance Company, City In Motion, and Kansas City Contemporary Dance Company. She is a decorated resident choreographer with Refine The Studio. Passionate about all forms of movement Emily has also worked to receive her 200-hour yoga certification to share the art of self-expression with everyone.
