Kyleigh is originally from Marion, Iowa.  She started dancing at the age of 4, taking part in all styles of dance at her local studio as she grew up.  Kyleigh also received formal ballet training from the University of Iowa Youth Ballet Program.  She is a recent graduate of the University of Iowa, with a BA in Dance and a certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship.  During her time with the Iowa Department of Dance Kyleigh was selected by professors, grad students, and fellow undergrads to perform in a variety of modern, contemporary, ballet and pointe pieces.  Most notably, Kyleigh was selected as a member of the University of Iowa Dance Company under the direction of George De La Peña.  She was also selected to perform in two of the university’s annual Dance Gala concerts.  Kyleigh is excited and proud to be a part of KC Contemporary Dance, where she can continue to learn and grow as a dancer.
