Company Soloist

Christine Kraus began dancing at Dimensions Dance Center in Saint Louis, Missouri. She has furthered her training through programs at Perry Mansfield, the Martha Graham School, Wylliams/Henry, and SALT Contemporary Dance.

Christine earned her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory where she performed in works by Paula Weber, DeeAnna Hiett, Gary Abbott, Christopher Huggins, Kirven Douthit-Boyd, Gregory Dawson, Kevin Iega Jeff, George Balanchine, and Cleo Parker Robinson. She is currently a soloist with KC Contemporary Dance and enjoys participating in freelance projects throughout the city. She has also performed with Wylliams/Henry, Tristian Griffin Dance Company, Circus Scorpius, Quixotic, Clouds Dance Company, and Westport Center of the Arts in the Kansas City area.

Additionally, Christine is a frequent local improviser and has danced with organizations such as Extemporaneous Music and Arts Society, BleepBloop, and Vice Versa Collective.
