Luisa grew up in Baldwin City, Kansas. She began her dance training at Stacey’s Dance Studio in her hometown and continued at the Lawrence Arts Center, where she was a member of the preprofessional dance company Lawrence Ballet Theatre. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. There she studied under Paula Webber, Gary Abbott, DeeAnna Hiett, Ronn Tice, Michael Blake, and Caroline Dahm. She performed in works choreographed by her instructors, Tristian Griffin, and Ron Gold. She also studied at The Ailey School and the Joffrey Ballet School. Luisa is thankful for this opportunity to perform and to grow as a dancer.
