Patricia (Tricia) Blanton began her training at Dance LTD School of Dance in Abilene, Texas. Recently, Tricia graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory with a BFA in Dance and Choreography. Tricia has trained with American Ballet Theatre, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Wylliams Henry Contemporary Dance Company, Cosmopolitan Ballet Theatre, Ballet San Angelo, and the Brownwood Lyric Theater. She has performed works on stage by Gary Abbott, Ronald Tice, Michael Blake, and Tempe Ostergren. As well as performed in a Dance Film work To The Light, by UMKC Conservatory Alum, Erica Lohman. In addition, Tricia has taught Jazz at Key City Dance Co. and various ages of Ballet and Contemporary Dance classes at its predecessor, Dance LTD School of Dance. Tricia is very excited to be dancing with KC Contemporary Dance for their Fall Show, Forces of Nature.
