Sophie was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up dancing at Studio C Dance in Arnold, MO. She graduated from Lindenwood University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a specialization in Contemporary, and a minor in Dance Studio Management. Throughout her four years she performed in works choreographed by professors Tricia Zweier, Janet Strzelec, and Amy Gammon as well as various guest artists and student choreographers. Sophie moved to Kansas City after graduated with hopes to continue her dance career professionally. She also began teaching and choreographing for Catherine’s Dance Studio in Parkville. Sophie is so grateful for this opportunity to train and perform with KCCD.
